Is Health and Safety a concern in your Workplace?

The objective of OSHA is to enlighten the Management and the Workers on the importance of Occupational Health and Safety in present day work environments, given the ever increasing safety concerns within factory and office premises.

In Sri Lanka many conditions inhibit a proper implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Programs. Lack of awareness, lack of Training among workers and loose statutory provisions in legislature and inappropriate classification with regard to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are attributed as contributing factors.
